Privacy Policy

Effective .

Greenberg Advisory respects the privacy of the boards, managers, and individuals who reach out to the firm. This page explains what the firm collects through this website, how that information is used, and the choices you have.

Information the Firm Collects

The firm collects what you choose to send through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if you add it), your role, the type of project, an approximate budget range, and your message. You only need to share what it takes for the firm to reply.

This website also uses Google Analytics to see how the site is used, so it can be improved. Google sets cookies in your browser and processes the usage data for the firm in a form that does not identify you by name. Google states that it does not store full IP addresses; an IP is used briefly to estimate general location. The firm does not run ads, remarketing, or any advertising features. You can opt out by installing Google’s official opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser, which also stops Microsoft Clarity, described below. The web host also keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for a short time as part of normal operation; the firm does not use these to identify or track you.

How the Firm Uses the Information

What you send through the contact form is used only to respond to you and, if an engagement follows, to do the work. Greenberg Advisory does not sell, rent, or trade your information, and does not share your contact details with marketers or anyone outside the firm for their own use. The only services that touch your information are the providers listed below that help run the site, plus anyone the law requires.

Cookies

This site uses two kinds of analytics cookies: Google Analytics, which counts and measures traffic, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use the site so the firm can improve it. There are no advertising cookies, and the firm does not build profiles of you. None of these cookies are needed for the site to work, so you can clear or block them in your browser anytime without losing anything.

Third-Party Services

A few services help run the site, each handling only what it needs:

  • Netlify hosts the site and the contact form, and emails form submissions to the firm.
  • Google Analytics measures traffic using data that does not identify you by name.
  • Microsoft Clarity records individual session replays (mouse movement, clicks, scrolls, and the pages you visit) and turns clicks and scrolls into aggregated heatmaps. It is set to mask what you type into form fields.

Google, Microsoft, and Netlify each handle your data under their own privacy policies.

Data Security

The firm uses reasonable safeguards to protect what you submit. No website is ever perfectly secure, so the firm cannot promise absolute security, but it treats your information as something to protect, not to trade.

Data Retention

The firm keeps contact-form submissions and related emails as long as it needs them to reply. If you become a client, it keeps them through the work and for normal record-keeping afterward. You can ask the firm to delete what it holds at any time. Data inside Google, Microsoft, or the web host is covered by their own retention and deletion processes, and analytics data is not tied to your name, so it cannot be pulled out individually.

Your Rights

You can ask the firm at any time what information it holds about you, and to correct or delete it. If your state or country gives you extra privacy rights, you have those too. Just email the address below and Ben will take care of it.

Children’s Privacy

Greenberg Advisory works with community associations and the people who serve them. The site is for business use by adults. It is not directed to children, and the firm does not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.

Governing Law

Florida law governs this policy. Where other privacy laws apply to you, the firm honors the rights they give you.

Changes to This Policy

Greenberg Advisory may update this page as its practices change or for legal reasons. Anything significant will be marked with a new date above.
